Why China is the REAL master of the universe
(Daily Mail Online (UK))
The dire warnings from the International Monetary Fund this week that the West now faces the largest financial shock since the Great Depression, while the Asian economies are still powering ahead, simply underlines our vulnerability in this new world order. Read this, and then re-read it again. It's fear-mongering, pure and simple: ooh, suddenly the world's a much scarier place when some *ssholes not from the UK or Europe are starting to call the shots. From my perspective, they're all *ssholes, whether they're from London or Beijing or Bangalore. They're all competition, and while my people are down, we're still here. It will be interesting to see how these folks, the so-called West, play the game when they're starting to fall behind. I expect we're in a for a lot of turbulence, and lots of saber-rattling ahead, be it political, economic, or military. The sun doesn't set on the British Empire-type bullsh*t! But every dog is going to have its day. In this life, or the next. And some dogs' days are coming to an end, clearly.
